Accessibility statement
Built to be used by everyone.
PURIST is committed to making this site usable for people of all abilities. We design and develop against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our minimum standard.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading hierarchy on every page.
- Sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive elements.
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation.
- ARIA labels on icon-only controls and a skip-to-content link at the top of each page.
- Respect for the operating system's
prefers-reduced-motionpreference. - Form labels associated with their inputs; required fields marked accordingly.
- Image alt text describing meaningful visual content; decorative images marked as such.
What we are still working on
Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a finished state. If you encounter a barrier on this site, we want to hear about it. Email accessibility@purist.online with a description of the issue and the page where you saw it. We commit to responding within five business days.
Third-party content
Where this site embeds content from third parties (video, social feeds, payment processors), we ask those providers to meet the same accessibility standards. We cannot guarantee third-party accessibility but we will work with you to find an alternative way to access the same information on request.
